Jason Ritter
Biography
Jason Morgan Ritter, born on February 17, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actor known for his diverse roles in television. He is the son of actors John Ritter and Nancy Morgan, and the grandson of musician and actor Tex Ritter. Ritter gained prominence for his portrayal of Kevin Girardi in the series Joan of Arcadia, Sean Walker in NBC's The Event, and as the voice of Dipper Pines in the animated series Gravity Falls. He received an Emmy Award nomination for his recurring role as Mark Cyr in Parenthood. Ritter's early acting experience includes appearing in the opening credits of his father's show, Three's Company. He attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied at the Atlantic Theatre Company, and also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
