Biography

Jay Chandrasekhar, born on April 9, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American director and actor. He is best known for his work with the comedy group Broken Lizard, which produced films such as Super Troopers (2001), Beerfest (2006), and The Slammin' Salmon (2009). Chandrasekhar graduated from Colgate University, where he participated in the comedy troupe Charred Goosebeak, and he also attended Lake Forest Academy in Illinois. He is a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Chandrasekhar has been married to Susan Clarke since September 18, 2005, and they have one child together. In 2005, he was recognized as one of Fade In Magazine's "100 People in Hollywood You Need to Know." His contributions to film and comedy have established him as a notable figure in the entertainment industry.
