Jennifer Akerman

Biography

Jennifer Åkerman (born 10 July 1989) is a Swedish model, blogger, songwriter, and singer. She is the younger sister of actress Malin Åkerman and has another sister named Mikaela. Åkerman moved to Los Angeles at 18 to pursue her studies and initially explored acting. However, she was discovered by a modeling agency, leading to work with various brands and commercials, which eventually took her to New York. Concurrently, she developed an interest in music, performing with the rock band Bella Tech before forming her own band, Bloke & Bird. Åkerman gained further public recognition as a contestant on the celebrity dance show Let's Dance in 2013. She has contributed to several publications, including Veckorevyn, Chic, and Metro Mode. Åkerman is currently in a relationship and welcomed her first child, a son named Harrison, in January 2022.
