Biography

Jodi Balfour is a South African actress known for her work in television and film. She grew up in Cape Town, where she was involved in the local theatre and television scene. Balfour graduated with a BA in Theatre and Performance from the University of Cape Town in 2009. Shortly after, she gained recognition for her role in the BAFTA-nominated BBC mini-series The Sinking of the Laconia, which marked the beginning of her professional acting career. In 2010, she relocated to Vancouver, Canada, where she has appeared in several notable projects, including SyFy's Sanctuary, The CW's Supernatural, Shunji Iwai's Vampire, and The Hub's The Haunting Hour. Balfour continues to build her portfolio in the entertainment industry.
