Joely Fisher, born on October 29, 1967, in Burbank, California, is an American actress, director, and singer. She is recognized for her roles in television series such as Ellen (1994-1998), Desperate Housewives (2005), 'Til Death (2006-2010), and Last Man Standing (2014-2015). Fisher grew up in a complex family environment, with an absentee father, Eddie Fisher, and a mother, Connie Stevens, who introduced various men into their lives. She began her entertainment career at age seven in Las Vegas and later performed with her sister in a nightclub act. Despite facing challenges related to her weight, she pursued acting and found success after losing weight and gaining recognition for her performance in I'll Do Anything (1994).
