Johann Urb
Biography
Johann Urb, born on January 24, 1977, is an Estonian-born American actor and former model. He was born in Tallinn, Estonia, as the son of musician Tarmo Urb. At the age of ten, he moved to Finland with his mother and her new husband, primarily residing in Tampere. Urb relocated to the United States at 17 to pursue a career in modeling, which eventually led him to acting after studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
He made his film debut in the 2001 comedy Zoolander and appeared in various television series, including CSI: Miami and The Mountain. Urb gained recognition for his role in The Hottie and the Nottie (2008) and later appeared in Roland Emmerich's 2012 (2009) and as Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil: Retribution (2012). He currently portrays US Park Ranger Burt Moore in the series NCIS.
