John de Lancie
Biography
John de Lancie was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and attended Kent State University before receiving a scholarship to Juilliard. He comes from a musical background, as his father was a professional oboist with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra. De Lancie is best known for his role as Eugene Bradford on the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives, which began in 1965, and for his portrayal of the character Q in the science fiction series Star Trek: The Next Generation, which premiered in 1987. His performances have garnered a significant following and contributed to his reputation as a versatile actor in both television and theater.
