John William DiMaggio, born on September 4, 1968, in North Plainfield, New Jersey, is an American voice actor recognized for his distinctive performances in animation and video games. He is best known for voicing Bender in the animated series Futurama, as well as characters such as Wakka and Kimahri in Final Fantasy X, Gilgamesh in Final Fantasy XII, and Marcus Fenix in the Gears of War series. DiMaggio began his career as a stand-up comedian and was part of a comic duo named "Red Johnny and the Round Guy." He has appeared in live-action roles, including Steve Ballmer in the docudrama Pirates of Silicon Valley and Dr. Sean Underhill in the television series Chicago Hope. Additionally, DiMaggio is a skilled beatboxer, showcased in various Futurama episodes. He is married and resides in the United States.
