Julie Warner

Biography

Julie Warner was born on February 9, 1965, in the United States. She grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, where her father, Neil Warner, worked as a musical arranger and her mother, Naomi, is a freelance book agent. Warner attended the Dalton School, where she befriended actress Mary Stuart Masterson. At age 12, she was encouraged by an agent to audition for a role in the film Pretty Baby (1978), which led to her first acting role on the soap opera Guiding Light (1952). Warner earned a degree in theatre arts from Brown University, graduating in 1987. After moving to Los Angeles, she worked as a waitress while pursuing acting opportunities. In 1995, she married writer-director Jonathan Prince. Warner has continued to work in the entertainment industry, maintaining a presence in film and television.
