She began her career in 2001 and gained significant attention after representing Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with her song "Je t'adore," finishing 12th in the semi-final. Her cover of Mylène Farmer's "Désenchantée" became a major hit across Europe, leading to the release of her debut album, "Different," in 2002, which sold over 250,000 copies.
