Kathie Lee Gifford
Biography
Kathryn Lee Gifford (née Epstein) was born on August 16, 1953, in France and is an American television presenter, singer, songwriter, occasional actress, and author. She is best known for her co-hosting role alongside Regis Philbin on the talk show Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, which aired from 1985 to 2000. Gifford also gained recognition for her 11-year tenure with Hoda Kotb on the fourth hour of NBC's Today show from 2008 to 2019. Throughout her career, she has received 11 Daytime Emmy nominations, winning her first in 2010 as part of the Today team. Gifford began her television career as a singer and sidekick on the game show Name That Tune from 1974 to 1978 and has made appearances on the first three hours of Today, in addition to her work as a contributing correspondent for NBC News. She currently resides in the United States and is single.
