Biography

Katie Boland is a Canadian actress known for her work in television and film. She gained early recognition for her roles in children's shows such as Noddy and The Zack Files. Boland has appeared in various television movies, including Hallmark's The Note and its sequel Taking a Chance on Love, where she played Christine. She starred in the television drama Terminal City and has featured in independent films like Some Things That Stay, Mount Pleasant, Growing Op, Adoration, and Daydream Nation. In 2009, Elle Canada named her one of the three Canadians to watch. In addition to acting, Boland writes novels and contributes as a journalist for publications including the Toronto Star and Blog TO. She maintains a blog showcasing her fiction and non-fiction work. Boland is the sister of rapper Michael Boland and filmmaker Gail Harvey is her mother. She divides her time between Los Angeles and Toronto.
