Biography
Katie Waissel, born on 24 January 1986, is an English singer-songwriter recognized for her participation in the seventh series of The X Factor, where she finished in seventh place. She gained further public attention as a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother 18, concluding her stay in eighth place. Waissel's early career included starring in an interactive online reality show titled Green Eyed World, which aired in 2009 and chronicled her pursuit of a record deal. During this period, she released a five-track EP and collaborated on the song "Moving Mountains." Prior to her X Factor audition, Waissel held various jobs, including receptionist and waitress. Her audition featured a rendition of "At Last" by Etta James, which led to her advancement in the competition. Throughout her career, she has toured with notable acts such as East 17 and Andy Abraham.
