Kelly Marie Tran, born on January 17, 1989, is an American actress known for her work in film and television. She began her acting career in 2011, primarily featuring in short films and television series. Tran gained international recognition for her role as Rose Tico in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, appearing in The Last Jedi (2017) and The Rise of Skywalker (2019). In addition to her live-action roles, she voiced the character Raya in the animated feature film Raya and the Last Dragon (2021).
