Biography

Ken Foree, born Kentotis Alvin Foree on February 29, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an American actor known for his commanding presence in both film and television. He studied acting at Loyola University in Chicago and Michael Shulman's Performing Gallery in New York City. Foree made his film debut in The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings (1976) and gained prominence for his role as Peter Washington in George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978). His diverse filmography includes notable performances in From Beyond (1986), Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990), and The Devil's Rejects (2005). He also portrayed Roger Rockmore on the Nickelodeon series Kenan & Kel (1996) and has appeared in various television shows, including The X-Files and General Hospital. In addition to acting, Foree enjoys surfing, boxing, weightlifting, and history. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
