Biography

Kimmy Robertson is an American actress known for her distinctive comedic talent. She began her career as a ballet dancer before transitioning to acting. Robertson gained attention when an agent from her ballet company recognized her unique sense of humor. Her first significant role came in the teen comedy The Last American Virgin (1982). Although she returned to ballet afterward, she made occasional film appearances, including Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989) and My Mom's a Werewolf (1989). Robertson is best known for her role as Lucy, the sheriff's secretary, in the influential TV series Twin Peaks (1990), where creators Mark Frost and David Lynch encouraged her to ad-lib, resulting in memorable comedic moments. Her film credits also include Disney's Beauty and the Beast (1991), Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997), and Stuart Little (1999).
