Biography

Kirsten Lindholm, born Kirsten Lindholm Andreassen on 1 September 1943 in Odense, Denmark, is a former model and film actress known for her roles in Hammer horror movies. Initially credited as Kirsten Betts, she gained recognition in the late 1960s and early 1970s, appearing in productions such as the London play "Pyjama Tops" (1969) and films like "Zeta One" (1969) and "The Vampire Lovers" (1970). She is also notable for her performances in "Twins of Evil" (1971) and "Lust for a Vampire" (1971). Following her acting career, Lindholm transitioned to a life focused on yoga and holistic healing, adopting the name Elandra Kirsten Meredith and later taking the Sikh name Vikram Kaur Khalsa. She currently resides on the Hibiscus Coast of New Zealand, where she teaches yoga and has contributed to music alongside her husband, Vic Briggs.
