Lara Spencer
Biography
Lara Spencer, born June 19, 1969, is an American television personality and lifestyle anchor for Good Morning America. She is also a correspondent for Nightline and ABC News. Spencer previously hosted The Insider for seven seasons and contributed to CBS's The Early Show. She served as the National Correspondent for Good Morning America and worked as a features and lifestyle reporter for WABC-TV. Additionally, she hosted Antiques Roadshow on PBS during the 2004 and 2005 seasons and has a segment titled "The Dish" on Rachael Ray. Born as Lara Christine Von Seelen in Garden City, Long Island, she graduated from Pennsylvania State University on a diving scholarship. Spencer has produced shows for HGTV and authored the book "I Brake for Yard Sales." She is married to David Haffenreffer, with whom she has two children, and they reside in Connecticut.
