Biography

Laura Carter, born on 13 September 1985 in Bingley, West Yorkshire, is an English actress known for her work in television. She studied Drama at Intake Performing Arts College in Leeds in 2004. Carter's first television appearance was in 2008 on The Royal Today, and she subsequently took on minor roles in notable series such as Channel 4's Red Riding, and the BBC's The Syndicate, along with appearances in soap operas Emmerdale, Casualty, and Holby City. She was also featured in Clean & Clear idents for the E4 show 90210 and starred in E4's Young, Free & Single. In 2016, Carter participated in the seventeenth series of Channel 5's Big Brother, where she was evicted on Day 46, finishing in ninth place. Following her reality TV stint, she made appearances on programs such as Loose Women and Big Brother's Bit on the Side.
