Biography

Laurel Holloman is an American stage, film, and television actress and artist, born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is recognized for her performances in various roles, notably as Randy Dean in the 1995 indie film "The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love," Justine Cooper on the television series "Angel," and Tina Kennard on Showtime's "The L Word." For her work on "The L Word," Holloman received a Golden Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2005. She studied at the University of North Carolina and the Piven Theatre Workshop in Chicago. Holloman is also an artist, having created a special series of paintings that were auctioned to benefit the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund. She is married to architect Paul Macherey, with whom she has two daughters, Lola Reiko and Nala Belle.
