Linda Cristal
Biography
Linda Cristal, born Marta Victoria Moya Burges on February 23, 1934, in Rosario, Argentina, is a retired Argentine-American actress known for her work in film and television. She made her English-language debut in the 1956 Western film Comanche, directed by George Sherman. Cristal gained recognition for her role as Flaca in John Wayne's The Alamo (1960) and starred alongside James Stewart in the western Two Rode Together (1961). After a brief semi-retirement to raise her children, she returned to acting in the NBC series The High Chaparral (1967-1971), where she was the last cast member added. Cristal also appeared in notable television series such as Bonanza, Barnaby Jones, and The Love Boat. Her film credits include the 1974 action film Mr. Majestyk, in which she took on roles that appealed to her.
