Biography

Lúcia Moniz, born in 1976 in Lisbon, Portugal, is a multifaceted artist known for her contributions to both music and acting. She began her musical career in 1991 at the Music Academy de Santa Cecilia in Lisbon. In 1996, she gained international recognition by finishing sixth in the Eurovision Song Contest with her entry "O Meu Coração Não Tem Cor," after winning the Festival RTP da Canção earlier that year. Moniz has released several albums, including her debut "Magnólia" in 1999 and "67," recorded in Boston and released in 2002, both achieving gold status in Portugal. Alongside her music career, she has established herself as a prominent actress in Portuguese theatre and television. Notably, she appeared in the film "Love Actually" and has recently taken a lead role in a Portuguese short film.
