Biography

Lúcio, born Lucimar Ferreira da Silva on 8 May 1978, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a central defender for FC Goa in the Indian Super League. He began his professional career in 1998 with Sport Club Internacional before moving to Bayer Leverkusen, where he reached the 2002 Champions League final and scored a goal against Real Madrid. In 2004, he joined Bayern Munich, winning one German Cup and three Bundesliga titles. Lúcio transferred to Inter Milan in 2009 and was instrumental in their 2010 Champions League victory over Bayern Munich. On the international stage, he represented Brazil, winning the 2002 World Cup, as well as the 2005 and 2009 Confederations Cups. Known for his strong defensive skills and aerial ability, Lúcio has established himself as a prominent figure in football.
