Gwei Lun-Mei, born on December 25, 1983, in Taiwan, is a Taiwanese actress recognized for her contributions to film. She began her acting career with a role in the movie Blue Gate Crossing (2002), portraying the character Meng Ke Rou. Gwei gained significant recognition for her performance in Secret (2007), directed by Jay Chou, where she played the female lead. Her talent was further acknowledged when she received the Best Leading Actress award at the 49th Golden Horse Film Awards in 2012 for her role in Girlfriend Boyfriend (2012). Throughout her career, Gwei has appeared in numerous films, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the Taiwanese film industry.
