Biography

Marco Materazzi, Ufficiale OMRI, was born on 19 August 1973 in Italy. Standing at 193 cm (6' 4"), he is a former professional footballer known for his defensive skills. Materazzi had a successful playing career, most notably with Inter Milan, where he won multiple Serie A titles and the UEFA Champions League. He was also a member of the Italian national team, contributing to their victory in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into management and served as the head coach of Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League. Materazzi is married and continues to reside in Italy.
