Mariana Vicente

Biography

Mariana Paola Vicente was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1989. She began her arts education early, enrolling in the Yolanda Muñoz Dance Academy at age four and later studying modeling, painting, singing, piano, and guitar. Vicente gained media attention at 14 during her high school fashion show, which led to her signing with Element Talent and Model Management. She participated in San Juan Fashion Week and her first ad campaign shortly thereafter. In 2005, she won Imagen Magazine’s Face of L’Oreal contest and was crowned Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010 in 2009. Vicente received several accolades, including Best Runway Walk and Most Beautiful Face. She reached the Top 10 in the Miss Universe 2010 competition in Las Vegas. Vicente plans to pursue an acting career by taking classes at Brian Reise Acting Studios in Hollywood.
