Biography

Maricar Reyes, born Maricar Concepcion Pozon Reyes in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, is a Filipino actress and model known for her appearances in various television commercials throughout the Philippines and Southeast Asia, representing brands such as Coca-Cola, Globe Telecom, and KFC. She trained in acting workshops with Star Magic and signed with ABS-CBN, gaining recognition in 2009 when she won the "Best New Female TV Personality" at the PMPC Star Awards for TV. That same year, she was nominated for "Best New Actress" for her role in the film "And I Love You So." Reyes is also known for her role as Samantha "Sam" Imperial in the series Imortal. In addition to her acting career, she graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, passing the medical board exams in 2008. She currently works as a general practitioner.
