Michalina Olszańska is a Polish actress and writer, recognized for her contributions to film and literature. She is the daughter of actors Agnieszka Fatyga and Wojciech Olszański. As a teenager, she published two novels, showcasing her writing talent. Olszańska gained significant acclaim for her performance in the film I, Olga Hepnarová, for which she received the Minsk International Film Festival Award for Best Leading Actress in 2016 and the Czech Film Critics' Award for Best Actress in 2017. Additionally, she starred in the Netflix original Polish-language series 1983, where she played the character Ofelia "Effy" Ibrom. The series premiered worldwide on November 30, 2018, further establishing her presence in the entertainment industry.
