Michelle Hurd
Biography
Michelle Hurd is an American actor, known for her diverse roles in television series. She is one of three daughters of actor Hugh Hurd and Merlyn Hurd, who was both an actor and a clinical psychologist. Hurd graduated from Saint Ann's School in 1984 and earned her degree from Boston University in 1988, also studying at the Alvin Ailey School and London's National Theatre. She gained recognition for her role as Monique Jeffries in the police procedural series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her notable performances include Athena Barnes in Leap Years, Colleen Manus in The Glades, Linda Bates Emery in Ash vs Evil Dead, and Ellen "Shepherd" Briggs in Blindspot. Currently, she portrays Raffi Musiker in the science fiction series Star Trek: Picard. Hurd is married to actor Garret Dillahunt, and they have one child together.
