Miranda Hart
Biography
Miranda Hart is a British actress and comedian known for her distinct comedic style and tall stature. She completed a PostGraduate Acting Course at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) in London and holds a 2:1 degree in Politics from the University of the West of England in Bristol. Before pursuing acting, Hart worked as an office manager and personal assistant for Macmillan Cancer Relief and Comic Relief. She has raised over £1 million for Sports Relief by cycling from John O'Groats to Lands End in 2010, alongside various celebrities. Hart has a Shih Tzu cross named Peggy and has publicly shared her experience with severe agoraphobia. Her family includes notable figures, such as her uncle Lord Luce and her grandfather Sir William Luce. She is the daughter of Dee Hart Dyke and former Royal Navy officer Captain David Hart Dyke.
