Noriko Sakai, born on February 14, 1971, in Fukuoka, Japan, is a well-known Japanese pop singer and actress. She gained significant popularity in Hong Kong and Taiwan, particularly for her best-selling single, "Aoi Usagi" (碧いうさぎ, "Blue Rabbit"). Sakai married Yūichi Takasō in 1998, and they have one son, born in 1999. The couple divorced on July 31, 2010. In August 2009, she made headlines due to a drug scandal, resulting in a three-year suspended sentence for drug abuse.
