Biography

Oona Laurence, born on August 1, 2002, is an American youth theatre actress recognized for her role as Matilda Wormwood in the Broadway production of Matilda, where she shared the stage with fellow actresses Bailey Ryon, Milly Shapiro, and Sophia Gennusa. Based in New York City, Laurence has built a diverse portfolio that includes credits in film, theater, and television. Her accomplishments include receiving a dance scholarship to the Harkness Center for Dance, winning a Tony Award, and earning a Grammy nomination. Laurence has two younger sisters, Aimee and Jete, who are also involved in acting.
