Biography

Orianthi Panagaris, known professionally as Orianthi, is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist born on January 22, 1985. She gained prominence as Michael Jackson's lead guitarist for his "This Is It" concert series and appeared in the associated documentary film. Her debut single, "According to You," reached #8 in Australia and #17 in the US, while her debut album, "Believe," was released worldwide in late 2009. Orianthi has collaborated with various artists, including Prince, and has been recognized among the 12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists. She performed at Jackson's memorial service in July 2009 and participated in the charity single "We Are the World: 25 for Haiti." Orianthi released the song "Shut Up And Kiss Me" in 2010 and has toured with former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert.
