P.J. Soles
Biography
Pamela Jayne Soles (née Hardon; born July 17, 1950) is a retired American actress originally from Germany. She made her film debut in Brian De Palma's Carrie (1976) and gained recognition for her role as Lynda van der Klok in John Carpenter's Halloween (1978). Soles is also known for her performances in Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979), Breaking Away (1979), Private Benjamin (1980), and Stripes (1981). She has appeared in various films, including cult classics like The Devil's Rejects (2005) and Beg (2011), and is often regarded as a scream queen. Soles was married to J. Steven Soles from 1973 to 1975 and later to actor Dennis Quaid from 1978 to 1983. She married Skip Holm in 1983, with whom she has two children, Sky (born 1983) and Ashley (born 1988). They divorced in 1998. Soles currently resides in the United States.
