Paola Iezzi
Biography
Paola Iezzi is a Milan-born musician and producer, recognized as one half of the duo Paola&Chiara. With a background in humanities, she studied under the renowned professor Roberto Vecchioni. Iezzi began her musical journey at age 14, initially playing guitar and later transitioning to electric bass and singing. She gained early experience in various underground bands alongside her sister, Chiara, before being invited to tour with the pop band "883" in the mid-1990s. In 1997, the sisters formed Paola&Chiara, achieving significant success, including a win at the Sanremo Music Festival. They are known for writing their own songs and producing their albums. In 2007, they established their record label, Trepertre. In 2009, Iezzi launched a solo project titled "Alone," which showcased her artistic vision through music and visual elements. She also pursues photography and visual art, emphasizing the relationship between art and fashion in her work.
