Biography

Patricia "Patti" Elvina Hansen is an American model and actress known for her work in the fashion industry during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Born and raised in Tottenville, Staten Island, New York City, she is of Norwegian descent. Discovered at age 14 by photographer Peter Gert, Hansen was signed by Wilhelmina Models and began her career in modeling, appearing on the covers of notable magazines such as Seventeen, American Vogue, and Glamour. She became widely recognized after featuring on the December 1978 cover of Esquire. Transitioning to acting in the early 1980s, Hansen appeared in films including They All Laughed and Hard to Hold. She returned to modeling in the 1990s and has participated in various campaigns and runway shows. Hansen married Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards in 1983, and they have two daughters.
