Paul Reiser

Biography

Paul Reiser, born on March 30, 1957, is an American actor, comedian, television writer, and musician. He gained prominence in the 1980s for his role as Michael Taylor in the sitcom My Two Dads and as Paul Buchman in the NBC series Mad About You. Reiser appeared in notable films, including Modell in the 1982 film Diner, Carter Burke in the 1986 science fiction film Aliens, and Detective Jeffrey Friedman in Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and its sequel in 1987. In recent years, he has been recognized for his performance as Jim Neiman in the 2014 film Whiplash and as Doug Getty in the Amazon Video series Red Oaks. Reiser resides in the United States and is married.
