The Pussycat Dolls is a female singing group from the United States, originally formed in 1995 as a burlesque troupe in Los Angeles by choreographer Robin Antin. The group transitioned to a music ensemble and signed with A&M Records and Interscope Records in 2003. Their debut album, "PCD," was released in 2006 and featured hit singles such as "Don't Cha," "Buttons," and "Stickwitu," achieving multi-platinum status worldwide. Their second album, "Doll Domination," was released in 2008, producing successful tracks like "When I Grow Up" and "I Hate This Part." Over the years, the lineup has changed, with Nicole Scherzinger serving as the lead singer. Although the group has faced internal disagreements and temporary breaks, Antin has stated that the Pussycat Dolls are not breaking up and plans for a new album were announced. The group is known for its blend of pop and dance music, characterized by strong vocals and choreography.
