Biography

Rachael Finch is an Australian model and former beauty queen who gained prominence after being crowned Miss Universe Australia on April 22, 2009. She represented Australia at the Miss Universe 2009 pageant held in the Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Finch's modeling career began in 2004 when she won the Queensland Model of the Year title, and she was subsequently discovered by international modeling agencies in 2006 at a ProScout event in Brisbane. She is of mixed heritage, with an Australian father and a Ukrainian mother. In addition to her modeling work, Finch has supported charitable causes, including raising funds for ToyBox International. She married her Dancing with the Stars partner Michael Miziner on January 3, 2013, and they have two children: daughter Violet, born in September 2013, and son Dominic, born in March 2017.
