Ricky Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson on May 8, 1940, in Teaneck, New Jersey, was a prominent American actor and musician. He gained fame as a teenage heartthrob on the television series The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, which aired from 1952 to 1966. Nelson also appeared in films such as Rio Bravo (1959), showcasing his talent beyond television. He was married to Kristin Harmon, with whom he had four children. Nelson's music career included several hit singles, contributing to his status as a cultural icon of the 1950s and 1960s. He passed away on December 31, 1985, in De Kalb, Texas.
