Biography

Robin Shou is a Hong Kong-American actor, martial artist, and stuntman, recognized for his roles in various action films. He gained prominence for portraying Liu Kang in the Mortal Kombat film series released in 1995 and 1997. His other notable performances include Gobei in Beverly Hills Ninja (1997), Gen in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009), and 14K in the Death Race films (2008-2013). Before his transition to Hollywood in 1994, Shou was an action star in Hong Kong during the late 1980s and early 1990s, appearing in approximately 40 films throughout his career in the region. His work has contributed to the popularity of martial arts cinema in both Hong Kong and the United States.
