Biography

Rosalía Vila Tobella, known professionally as Rosalía, is a Spanish flamenco pop singer-songwriter who gained international recognition with her 2018 album, El Mal Querer, featuring the hit single "Malamente." Her popularity surged in 2019 with collaborations such as "Con Altura" with J Balvin and "Yo x Ti, Tú x Mi" featuring Ozuna. In addition to her music career, she made her film debut in Pedro Almodóvar's 2019 movie Dolor y Gloria, alongside Penélope Cruz and Antonio Banderas. In 2020, she won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban Album for El Mal Querer. Born in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Barcelona, Rosalía has an older sister, Pilar, who acts as her stylist. She has been linked romantically to several individuals, including Hunter Schafer and Rauw Alejandro, with whom she became engaged in March 2023 before their eventual breakup.
