Ruby Wylder Rivera Modine, born on July 31, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Sierra Morton in the television series Shameless. Modine co-starred in the 2017 slasher film Happy Death Day and its sequel, portraying the character Lori Spengler. In addition to her acting career, she is the lead singer of the band Ruby Modine and the Disease.

Modine is the daughter of Caridad Rivera, a makeup and wardrobe stylist, and actor Matthew Modine. With a diverse heritage that includes Afro-Puerto Rican and Caucasian roots, she has expressed pride in her mixed background, emphasizing the complexity of identity and race. She has a brother, Boman Modine, who works as an assistant director in the film industry.
