Biography

Ryan Koning, born in 1985 in Cloquet, Minnesota, is an American model and musician. Before embarking on his modeling career, he served in the Army Reserve for six years, including a deployment to Iraq from October 2005 to October 2006. Koning made his modeling debut in 2009 with the "Ralph Lauren" Rugby Fall/Winter campaign. He quickly gained recognition in the fashion industry, notably opening the Spring/Summer 2010 "Roberto Cavalli" men's show, which solidified his status as a sought-after model. He has since participated in ad campaigns for brands such as "American Eagle," "Doho," and "Husky." In addition to modeling, Koning is an accomplished musician, known for writing instrumental pieces for films and performing at venues like Bitter End and Ella Lounge in New York City. He is also an avid snowboarder and has excelled in tennis.
