Biography

Sacha Parkinson is an English actress known for her work in television and film. She began her acting career in 2003 with a role in the Channel 4 adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's The Illustrated Mum. Following this, she made guest appearances in various series, including The Royal, The Street, and The Bill. In 2007, she joined the cast of CBBC's Grange Hill, portraying schoolgirl Anna Duncan for six episodes. Between 2007 and 2008, she appeared in minor roles in shows such as Waterloo Road, Doctors, Survivors, and Shameless, as well as the drama Clay, featuring Imelda Staunton. In 2009, Parkinson was cast as Natasha in the film Awaydays and played Leanne in A Boy Called Dad, which was released in March 2010. She is also recognized for her role as Sophie Webster in Coronation Street, which she left in December 2011.
