Samantha Harris
Biography
Samantha Harris is an American television hostess born on November 27, 1973, in Hopkins, Minnesota. She is best known for co-hosting seasons two through nine of Dancing with the Stars alongside Tom Bergeron. From 2010 to 2012, she served as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. Harris has also appeared on the covers of several fitness magazines, including Muscle & Fitness: HERS, FHM, SELF, and SHAPE. In 2007, she became the spokesperson for Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula, participating in a national advertising campaign. Harris earned a journalism degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 1996. Her career includes roles on The Insider, Good Morning America, Extra, and E! News, as well as hosting Fox's The Next Joe Millionaire. She married Michael Hess in 2005 and has two children. In April 2014, Harris announced her breast cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery.
