Sandahl Bergman is an American actress and dancer known for her work in film and television. She began her career in 1978 with a small role in the TV film How to Pick Up Girls, and gained prominence in 1979 with a notable appearance as a dancer in the film All That Jazz. Her most recognized role came in 1982 when she portrayed Valeria opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Barbarian, earning her a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year - Actress. Bergman performed her own stunts in the film, showcasing her physicality and dedication. She later starred as Queen Gedren in Red Sonja (1985) and appeared in various low-budget films, including Hell Comes to Frogtown (1987). Her other credits include roles in Airplane II: The Sequel and guest appearances on television shows like Hart to Hart and Moonlighting. She also worked as an instructor for exercise videos in the 1980s.
