Sandra Edwards, born March 12, 1938, in Los Angeles, is an American actress and model. She gained prominence as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month in March 1957, with her centerfold photographed by Peter Gowland. Often referred to as Saundra Edwards, she has two children from a previous relationship, Camille and Steven John Gilson, the latter being adopted by her husband, Tom Gilson. Edwards resides in Yucca Valley, California. Following Tom Gilson's death, her career at Warner Brothers ended, though she was offered a lucrative six-film deal shortly thereafter, which she declined due to personal reasons, including her children's schooling. Edwards chose to step away from Hollywood, prioritizing her family over her acting career.
