Biography
Shruti Rajalakshmi Haasan, born on 28 January 1986, is an Indian actress, singer, music composer, and musician known for her work in the South Indian film industry and Bollywood. She is the daughter of renowned actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika. Haasan began her career as a child artist, singing in films and making a guest appearance in "Benki Shivanna." Her adult acting debut came in the 2009 action drama "Luck." She gained critical acclaim for her performances in films such as "Anaganaga O Dheerudu," "Oh My Friend," and "7aum Arivu." In 2012, she achieved significant commercial success with her role in "Gabbar Singh," the Telugu remake of "Dabangg." In addition to her acting career, Haasan has pursued music, working as a singer in various Indian languages and composing music, including for her father's production "Unnaipol Oruvan," along with her own music band and album.
