Shweta Menon

Biography

Shweta Menon was born on 23 April 1975 in Calicut, Kerala, India. She gained recognition in the modeling industry after being crowned Miss Bangalore and finishing as the second runner-up in the Miss India contest in 1994, behind Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai. That same year, she became the first Gladrags female supermodel and was also the runner-up in the Miss Asia Pacific pageant. Shweta attracted attention for her appearance in a Kamasutra brand condom advertisement, which featured provocative imagery, a notable departure from traditional Indian advertising norms. In addition to her modeling career, she is an accomplished dancer and has appeared in numerous South Indian films. Shweta Menon continues to be a prominent figure in the entertainment industry in India.
